Double the Fun...Bath Time Times Two!

The guys had their Monday Night Softball league, and so we had a house full of folks for pizza beforehand. Lauren and Kaitlyn both needed a bath to wind down for the night, and what made more sense that to kill two birds with one stone and plop them in the tub together!?!

It's hard to believe there is only 3 - 4months between the two these days. I think once Lauren starts scooting around too, they will be off to the races, and running around all over the place together!

Lauren finds Kaitlyn quite funny and will just belly laugh at her antics. A preview of the years to come? Only time will tell.... :)

Fall Weather

Yesterday and today each brought some much needed cooler weather to Atlanta. Yesterday was a tad warmer than today when the high was in the upper 70's. After several weeks in the 90's and 100's, it feels like fall to us! Saturday Ladybug bummed around in her jeans and a hoodie. Can we guess who gave Lauren this particular piece of clothing??? (Thanks Aunt Sarah. We miss you!!)

Lauren's First "School" Pictures

Lauren had her first set of "school" pictures taken the same day as her 6 month well baby visit. in late August. I was pleasantly surprised that she was so happy and smiley in them, given that she got three shots that morning!

Lauren and Kaitlyn shared their first hugs last night. Afterward Kaitlyn kept wanting to pat Lauren affectionately on the head. Surprisingly Lauren didn't seem to mind...

Best of Friends...the Photos

Lauren and cousin Kaitlyn hugged for the first time last night. It was really quite sweet to watch the two "play" together and really interact for the first time.

Since Kaitlyn is almost 4 months older, Lauren hasn't been quite as interested in the past, but she actually hugged back.

I can't imagine how much fun it will be when the two of them are couple of years older and running around after each other!

Lauren's First Game Day

Lauren got decked out in her University of GA gear today. Since she's mastered the B and D sounds, we thought surely her first words would be BULLDAWGS, but no such luck. We'll keep working on it time for the GA/FL game at the end of October! ;)

Cousin Kaitlyn came over in her Georgia Tech gear, which was ok since the two teams weren't playing against each other we could root for a win in both games. Now Thanksgiving weekend may be another story....
