Memorial Day

We had a great time cooking out at Mimi and Papa Fish's house. We got to enjoy a cool breeze down by the lake, the sun was shining, and everyone had a chance to really relax for a few hours. The boys even got to fish a bit...

Lauren got a chance to play with her cousins Jonathan and Kaitlyn, who just adore her. Kaitlyn especially kept scooting forward on her bum to get closer to Lauren so she could touch her and hug her. Lauren is still a little too tiny to hug back, but we are sure in a few more months they will have so much fun playing together, and in a couple of years they will be running all over the place!

And our pretty baby girl got to finally wear the sweet hat that Nana got for her on her last visit to Atlanta. Look at those big blue eyes!

Daddy's Daily Ladybug Fix

Everyday when Daddy gets home from school he straps on the Baby Bjorn and walks around with Lauren outside. She loves to look at the trees and listen to the birds, and more often than not falls fast asleep...

Such a sweet girl....

Official Weigh-In

Last night Ladybug slept from 12:30am- 6:30am. Six whole hours!! Mama and Daddy consider that an official "Sleep Through the Night" moment. :)

Today Daddy weighed her using his incredibly accurate fishing scale, and she weighed in at 15lbs, even., and 25 inches long! Here is a shot of the Weigh-In moment:

She is laughing and giggling often, and bringing her parents so much joy!

Lauren Playing

Little Ladybug is starting to discover that when she bats at the monkey or bird that her bouncy seat will light up and play music. HOURS of entertainment are before us...she just laughs and kicks her feet and swings her little arms! (more)
